Who we are

Powering the green hydrogen economy with membranes made in India

Greenprastha makes separators for alkaline water electrolysers. Our technology was developed at IIT Bombay, we are incubated at SINE, and we design and make our products in India.

Mission

Powering the green hydrogen economy with membranes made in India

Make the component that decides how well an electrolyser works, and make it in India.

What we make

Separators first, then more of the stack

Nerva H2Sep 500 today; thinner and high-temperature grades, electrodes, zero-gap assemblies and AEM membranes and stacks in development.

Ambition

The separator stack makers specify by default

To be the supplier electrolyser makers in India and abroad trust for the parts that decide performance.

Leadership

The founders

Prof. Swatantra Pratap Singh speaking at IIT Bombay
Co-founder

Prof. Swatantra Pratap Singh

At Greenprastha Leads science and technology: separator R&D, the product roadmap and technical validation with customers.

Prof. Singh is an Associate Professor at IIT Bombay, where he leads the Environmental Nanotechnology Lab and the Gogri Hub for Membranes Research. The technology behind Nerva H2Sep 500 was developed in his research programme, which is recognised by the European Membrane Society, INAE and INSA and cited more than 5,000 times.

Ravi Verma
Co-founder

Ravi Verma

At Greenprastha Leads strategy, customer partnerships and market development in India and abroad.

Ravi has spent two decades building some of India's best-known brands. He led Park Avenue at Raymond to Retailer of the Year, led marketing for Tata Motors' SUV portfolio including the Safari Storme launch, and built brands at Mahindra and General Motors. CMO Asia named him among India's 100 most influential marketing leaders.

Pawan Kumar
Co-founder

Pawan Kumar

At Greenprastha Leads product and manufacturing: process development, scale-up, testing and quality.

Pawan brings hands-on experience in membrane processing and electrochemical testing. He led the testing behind the Nerva H2Sep 500 datasheet and is co-inventor on a 2024 patent application for single-step graphene-based membrane-electrode assemblies.
