Value for electrolyser makers

Engineered to outperform the global benchmark

More current than a premium composite separator in the same cell, in a sheet about 2.7 times stronger. Developed at IIT Bombay and manufactured in India for electrolyser makers worldwide.

Five reasons

What you get with Greenprastha

01

Performance

More hydrogen per stack, or the same output at lower power.

02

Durability

A stronger sheet for assembly and pressure cycling.

03

Local value addition

Supports domestic-content requirements for Indian stacks.

04

Supply security

Rupee pricing, short lead times and safety stock.

05

Support

Engineers on site within 48 hours.

Performance

More current at the same cell voltage

Lower ionic resistance means less power lost in every cell. Use it as more hydrogen from the same stack, or the same hydrogen at lower power.

Layered composite membrane structure
Durability

A sheet that survives the stack

About 2.7× the tensile strength of the commercial reference and a Young's modulus above 600 MPa. Stiffness and strength decide how a separator behaves in assembly, thermal cycling and pressure swings.

  • Easier handling and assembly in large-area cells
  • Built for pressurised designs and load-following operation
  • Long-duration durability validated with you, on your bench
How Nerva H2Sep 500 compares

A step beyond fabric diaphragms. Ahead of the premium benchmark.

Alkaline separators fall into two classes. Low-cost polymer fabric diaphragms conduct well but let gases cross. Premium composite separators hold gases apart and set the performance benchmark. Nerva H2Sep 500 is a composite that outperforms that benchmark in the same cell.

For customers in India

Raise the domestic content of every stack

India rewards domestic value addition in electrolysers, and domestic value addition in alkaline separators is close to zero today. Nerva H2Sep 500 lets Indian stack makers raise it without compromising on performance.
